CAMP-360 is our campsite, located in the heart of nature, on the first ridge of the Dhauladhar... between Jogindernagar and Barot valley. The place is known as Fula-Ri-Dhar, meaning the mountain of blossoms. The region also goes by the name '360', named by the paragliding community in recent years, for obvious reasons. There are no roads, no shops and no electricity around... just the pristine mountain life!
CAMP-360 is a traveler friendly home... we have people coming in from all walks of life. We have one room and five tents laid out in our garden, overlooking the gorgeous mountains. A common recreation space is enough to accommodate large groups at once. The house is powered with solar panels and is off the grid.
If you wish to experience nature in it's purest form, this is the place to be. The sights that you'll see are something that you will remember all your life. Come, experience a minimalist life, in sync with nature.
OUR STORY
This place is managed by Roshan Lal and his family. A farmer and a mason by occupation, life was very simple till he met a French dude, Robinson. An architect by profession, Robin joined Roshan to create this beautiful space. This opportunity allowed them to exchange their cultures and learn a lot of things... the spirit of which, shows in the construction.

Our place is a simple mountain style family run home-stay. Please do not expect "Resort-like" services.

We are situated on top of Fula-Ri-Dhar, a picturesque region that lies in Mandi District - Himachal Pradesh, India. The nearest town is JoginderNagar (14 kms away), where there is a major bus & taxi stand.
GHATASANI > JHATINGRI > CAMP-360
The last leg of the journey is a 4 km jeep track. It has to be made on a 4-wheel drive vehicle OR on foot. Jhatingri is the base village, where you have to arrive by road. From Ghatasani, follow the Barot Road for Jhatingri Village. From Jhatingri, you start walking up the mountain towards Fula-Ri-Dhar. The path leading up to the top is a 4 km uphill walk/trek. A rather beautiful walk through Cedar, Rhododendron, Pine and other kinds of trees, you will have some incredible views around.

Jeeps can be organized from Jhatingri to our place for a fee of Rs.600/- one way. The journey takes 20 mins and you will have to inform us in advance to avail this service.
BEST TIME TO VISIT?
This is the prime season time for paragliding, pilots come in from all parts of the world. On any given day you can spot lots of gliders flying in the air, like birds in the sky. This is also a great time to go trekking and star gazing.
If you looking to take a break from the summer heat of big cities and want to avoid the holiday rush at major tourist destinations, this is a place to be. This is also the best time for trekking, with good weather and spectacular views all around.

Winters in Himalayas are beautiful. However, it is not something for the faint hearted. Temperatures can go sub zero, and it's cold. We witness some magical snowfalls a few times every season... it's the kind of beauty you have to experience to know what it's like.
Frequently Asked Questions :
Do you have 24 hrs running hot water?
We have a solar powered water heater system in place. We do have running hot water on most days, unless on days when there has been less sunshine. In such a case, a provision will be made by heating water on stove.
Are there plug points to charge electronic devices?
We are completely powered by solar energy. All light connections run on 12 Volts and a USB Charging Station is in place for charging mobile devices and power banks. Access to the same is given to our guests; one has to connect their USB cable in the slot and could charge any device that has USB Charging. Other charging units that run on 220 Volts are NOT possible. We do have a gen-set for emergency situations.
How many people can be accommodated at once?
We have a capacity to host 15 people comfortably in five tents, an exclusive double bedroom and a common living area to chill.
What kind of food will be served?
The food provided will be mix of North-Indian dishes, that are home cooked and served fresh.
How far is the local market?
For immediate basic needs the nearest market is in Jhatingri (3.5 kms). The main market is in JoginderNagar (14 kms), that shall fulfill all your shopping needs, ATMs, hospitals, groceries, etc.
Are there ATM facilities around?
It is advised to carry all cash that you are going to need, before hand. The nearest ATM machine is in Gumma (11 kms).
Are there Medical Shops/Pharmacies around?
It would be better to carry your required medication along with you. The nearest pharmacy is in JoginderNagar (14 kms).
How do I place a booking?
Make a phone call, check availability and confirm your dates. That's it. We take bookings on call only. All bookings are managed by Roshan himself and there is no other way to make a booking.
Do you take on the spot bookings?
It is mandatory to call on prior basis, check availability, confirm your booking & let us know your travel dates. If we do not have any other bookings, we may accommodate you. In no case, are we responsible for your stay without prior intimation.
How to make the payment?
We accept only cash in Indian Rupees as a mode of payment. Alternatively, if one wishes to make a bank transfer it must be made in advance before your stay.
Is the camp site secure from wild animals and other threats?
The security of our guests is our primary concern and we take utmost care for our guests to feel comfortable. There are no known threats at the camp site.
How cold does it get during winters?
It largely depends from person to person, on how much tolerance each one has to extreme conditions. Temperatures usually go sub-zero. Be prepare with multiple layers of warm clothing.
Is the place suitable for kids?
Absolutely. The kids love it here. It would be an experience to remember. They find their play home in nature and come and discover new and different things that are not available in the city. The mountains instill a sense of awe, wonder and excitement.
Is the place suitable for pets?
Unfortunately, we cannot host pets. Since we have a common chill zone and kitchen, we cannot allow pets to enter our property. This ensures a hygienic atmosphere and a worry free experience for our guests.
THINGS YOU MUST CONSIDER TO BRING ALONG :
CAMERA
You will find yourself automatically gravitating to click the shutter every other day. The surroundings offer a great canvas for photographers. The seasons, the time and weather are practically like new and different lenses.
GOOD TREKKING SHOES
This will make your walks easier and more pleasurable. Bring your most comfortable trekking/walking shoes so you can enjoy the mountain life. Slippers/Sandals in outdoors are not recommended.
DAYPACK FOR TRAILS
A small backpack for small trails around the region will come in handy to carry your stuff.
TORCH LIGHT
A good handy torch is a must to light up the pathway, if you venture out after sunset. Head torches are better, so you don't have to carry it while walking.
BINOCULARS
To get the most of the 360 degree views.
WARM CLOTHES
Get enough warm clothes as per your needs, tolerance to cold and time of the year. In Winters, get everything. Gloves, caps, thermals, sweaters, down jackets, socks, you will need it all. Wearing multiple layers of clothes will keep you warm.
